Our Full-time enrichment programs include: Math, Science, Art Reading, Writing, Remore Learning, After School Programs.
Art
Children can work on motor skills by stimulation using different types of materials (paper punches, clay, and crayons) and demonstrate an understanding of certain concepts, such as big and small. Through art children are able to express feelings, ideas, and solutions which they may not be able to express verbally.
Music
Music is an important part of the child care curriculum. Young children love sound. Music activities and experiences help children practice important skills, including thinking, language, motor coordination and understanding emotions.
Movement
Movement activities, also called gross motor activities, are games, actions or activities of any kind that engage the large muscles of the body, thereby building gross motor coordination.
Language
Language development can strengthened by building listening and understanding skills. Using language and communication with young children is crucial for their success in school and beyond. Language development activities should be part of each day in the classroom, and also in the home.
Mathematics
Math is measuring, sorting, building, noticing patterns, making comparisons, and describing the environment, as well as counting and knowing the names of shapes. There are many ways to incorporate math learning into everyday moments.
Outside Play
Children need to remain active throughout the day; promoting outdoor play allows them to get fresh air and explore their environment more. Hands-on learning, the natural environment and loose parts in the outdoors stimulate children's senses through what they hear, touch, see and feel.
